"Vibrant plants in my home garden which last very little time- by the time they are ready to bloom, fall winds are rising and blow the petals off!  A still image of a lily is my only chance of keeping them!  

And of course I am thinking of my Great Aunt Lilly often while making them.  A Lily for Lilly, who wasn't named after a flower, but has always been called this shortened form of Lillian.  If ever there was a vibrant woman, she has a very appropriate name!"
