Brown Trout

Brown Trout is a lino-cut relief print with watercolour by Newfoundland artist Janet Davis, created in 2019.

• Variable edition of 75, plus a Trial Proof, a Bon à Tirer, and 25 Presentation Proofs, for a total of 104 impressions.
• Matted to fit an 8 × 14-inch frame.

Created in collaboration with the Indian Bay Ecosystem Corporation (IBEC), this artwork began with a brown trout from IBEC's ponds, provided to Janet as a drawing model. She developed the imagery for their 709 Watershed podcast logo and created pieces the not-for-profit organization could use in its fundraising efforts.
