Buscuit Tin

I proofed this new linocut printing plate during our Christmas OPEN HOUSE on the 20th of December. It was a very nice afternoon of people stopping in to say hello, and check out what we were creating. While Duke was making thump mats and other nautical knots out of used fishing industry ropes, I pulled a couple of proofs of this newly carved image.
The image comes from the top of a buscuit tin I photographed at Jenniex House while visiting the museum in Norris Point in September.
In the coming days, I'll be cutting paper, pulling more proofs until I get the desired look, and then editioning the image.
You're welcome to come visit to see the process in action.
And as always, I cherish the comments my readers leave- tell me what you think!
