BBARS Art & Science Residency

Today I took a little trip with friends to hike the Coastal Trail, a 3 kilometre route between Green Point and Bakers Brook known as the Old Mail Road.  

I love the tuckamore forest which can be entered through paths- these pictures were taken as I was crouching underneath the branches- to give it some perspective, these trees are only three or four feet tall.

I'll be visiting this trail again, with Duke in tow, as I know he'll love seeing the magnificent rock formations at Green Point with tons of fossils and interesting layers of rock that deserves its own post.  

I hiked about 10 kms or more today, and then did a bit more mat hooking tonight before calling it a fairly early night.  All that fresh air has made me sleepy!
