I was shocked with the news of the sudden death of my friend Catherine this week. Many know her as Cat, and here at the studio, she signed her artwork Cat GWG.
She and our friend Eleanor 1st came to my shop as browsers around 2002 or 2003. They both signed up for various art classes & workshops, and friendships were formed as we drew, printed, shared meals, played cards, and hung out together.
Catherine was always an entertainer- she'd come up with the darnest things to say that would have us all in stitches, and seemed to be quite in her glee when she had us as an audience. I will miss that sparkle in her eyes tremendously.
Catherine will be laid to rest on Friday, and my sincere condolences go out to her family and friends. You can see her full obituary here.
