Time is flying by here at Norton's Cove Studio, while I am still filling orders for shops that I took in the spring.  I thought I'd check in with you all, as I haven't been blogging as often as is my normal just because I've been behind in my to-do-list.  My desk is currently paper version of Jenga- it's going to topple any minute!

I am putting together the last two large orders which is taking weeks just to mat and watercolour, and then it's back to production printing for Print List No. 3!  While I haven't posted any regular hours for the shop this year, I am here pretty well every afternoon and evening, watercolouring mini-prints and cards, adding mats and signatures, and enjoying meeting people from here there and everywhere.  Duke opens the studio in the mornings most days while I'm working at the Badger's Quay Post Office, and he's got lots of new rope works available here too, including his new bowls and my favourite plaited doormats.

Not to worry- I'm still fitting in time to see the shows at the Neptune II Theatre, having meals with family & friends, and such, making sure that I don't burn myself out.  I'm living my best life!  I'm planning to take a break in September to refresh the creative juices and rest up for a productive fall.
