Sunday

Janet Davis

The last day of the fair was another great day- there were quite a few vendors who either ran out of product completely, or had very little left to pack up at the end of the show!

This one will go down as one of the best fairs we've done in the past 23 years, and I'd like to thank everyone who came out to support local independant creatives like me!  And a special shout out to these people who made it extra special:

  • The Christmas Craft Fair Staff who made everything very simple and easy to take part
  • Darren & Nicole for bringing smiles and coffee
  • Visitors Ian & Jill, Benjy & Gus, Ellie & Jeff, Chris & Robert, Vicki, for stopping in to chat, offering to bring snacks, and generally just making us feel valued
  • Our fellow booth holders for their humour, encouragement, and friendship- We've met so many wonderful people over the years at the Craft Fair, one of our favourite bits!
  • To my blog readers- I'm always surprised to hear how many of you there are!  Thank you for your interest
  • And to Duke- his arms are very valuable for cuddles, but also are very usefully strong.  Without his ability to conceptually & physically build and move the big display unit, Norton's Cove Studio's booth would not be the same.  Thank you my love!  I'm also very proud of Duke for just about selling out of his Norton's Cove Knots product line at the fair!  Those 'flattened turk's head' wreaths sold like hotcakes!

And now, we'll be taking a few days to get home and unpacked, rebuild our stock of Norton's Cove Knots, and get ready for Christmas activities here at Norton's Cove Studio.  ♥
