Printapalooza

Each winter, and into the spring, I go through print runs of my most popular Norton's Cove Card designs and some bespoke designs as well for special customers.  I call this series of work Printapalooza.  During Printapalooza, I complete the same tasks over and over again to create thousands of cards, miniprints, and bookmarks which are sent all over the world and to shops around Atlantic Canada:

• cut cotton paper into 6x8s, 4x6s, and 2x4s
• create print list spreadsheets based on orders for shop owners
• print the ordered products by colour: black, red, red-yellow, orange, red-blue, blue, blue-green, green, brown, and grey.
• let dry on my drying rack, and then stacks of window screens once the actual drying rack is full! (If you have removed your window screens and want a storage space for them, my studio is a perfect place for them!)
• fold into cards & package with an envelope
• sign and add a 5x7 mat and package as a mini-print
• punch a hole, add a tassel, and package as a bookmark
• repeat until all orders are filled!
