BBARS Art & Science Residency

I've had such a productive day!

I'm working on a new series of Gros Morne Mini-Prints today, a new herring linocut, and planning a special project for an exhibition next year in relation to the BBARS residency.

The act of removing myself from my usual surroundings, forcing myself out of my normal daily routines, is having a profound effect on my creative energy.  My mind is really busy, taking in all the extra information, and giving me the opportunity to seize upon my ideas as they flow freely.  I am so used to having to put my ideas aside while I do the next job that needs to be done- this scheduled time for creative focus is proving very successful.

I am so thankful to have been given this opportunity!
