Celebrating 23 Years @ Norton's Cove Studio

Today, I am happy to say that my micro-sized business, Norton's Cove Studio Inc., is officially 23 years old, as the incorporation date is April 19th, 2002.

While the business has changed a little over the years, it is still mostly the same as it was when we first opened to the public.  We had a Grand Opening in September of that year, and it was a wonderful event.  The building was full (we really tested the strength of the then 112 year old floor boards!) of local people, family, and friends, showing their support and their excitement of something new happening in their town.  

I would love to see another big crowd here today, to see another printmaking demonstration, to see what we do here for the first time, or the 100th.  Duke will be here with me to show you how to make a thump mat, and we'll have some cake and eat it too!

And we're also having a sale, for any of you who have had their eye on something special!  This will be the only special sale this year, in-person & online.
