I have been saving corks forever, and have used them recently to cover an unfinished end in the storage cupboards/chalkboard at the Lower Deck @ Norton's Cove Café.
There are some interesting pieces when you look closely: one cork has a broken corkscrew shining through, and there are a very few that come from old ink bottles and such that were found in my c.1890 shop!
